May 2012

This is our best year yet for bookings. It must be the Staycation !

March 2012

Leys Farmhouse Annexe Blog

2012 season has started really well with a last minute surprise booking !

Treat yourself to a short winter break for some crisp walks in the sunshine and cosy evenings in front of the fire!

We have plenty of spring availability. Fancy a short break or an Easter getaway? The woodpecker is busy drilling in the tree, the ducks are nesting in the garden, the muntjacs and rabbits are eating all the flowers - you'll love it !

Christmas

We have two bookings for the Christmas period. The first is a return visit by a couple who came in the summer. They will be with us from Christmas Eve until Boxing Day.

Then we have another couple in for three nights midweek.

After that, we will have mother-in-law in residence to help us see the New Year in. She stays in the annexe as she can no longer manage the stairs in the main house. She will enjoy seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren during her visit.

A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our clients both past, present and future.

Confused Wildlife

The wildlife is confused by the mild October weather. We have a mother mallard and a brood of fluffy brown and yellow ducklings swimming on our pond!

Lots of bulbs are beginning to show shoots - oh dear !
